"Search gets me there eventually"
I’ve been using pbs.org on and off for a while now, and most of the time it works fine. Last week I was trying to find a specific episode, though, and it took me a few searches before I finally landed on the right one. The results can feel a little scattered, and sometimes the menus aren’t as obvious as I’d like. I usually do find what I’m looking for in the end, but it takes longer than it probably should

"Decent docs, but I expected more variety"
I do enjoy some of the documentaries on here, but I was expecting a bigger mix to choose from. The selection feels a bit limited, and when I try to find older titles, they’re not always easy to track down. It’s good, just not quite as broad as I hoped

"Feels like the same shows over and over"
I used to Like PBS because it had a nice mix of different stuff to watch, but lately it feels like it’s mostly the same documentaries and older shows again and again. there really isn’t much Variety anymore, and I got bored fast.

"I like pbs and I’m glad to support..."
I like pbs and I’m glad to support it, but my experience with pbs Passport has been mixed. There are definitely some good shows on there, but I was surprised that a few things I expected to watch either weren’t included or were harder to find than they should’ve been. For something tied to a donation, I kind of expected the service to feel a little smoother, or at least get some acknowledgment or apology when the content isn’t what you assume it’ll be. If you watch pbs a lot, it’s probably worth it, but for me it’s just okay.

"I went on pbs.org hoping to find..."
I went on pbs.org hoping to find some simple, helpful learning material, but it felt kind of scattered. The videos themselves were fine, but the way everything was explained wasn’t very clear, and I kept feeling like I was missing the point. It was annoying because I expected it to be more straightforward and educational, but I didn’t really walk away understanding much...

"Support helped, but be ready to wait"
I ran into an issue with my PBS account and reached out to support. To be fair, they did get back to me and were polite, and the problem was eventually fixed. But it took a couple of days between replies, so don’t expect a quick turnaround if something urgent comes up. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just slower than I would’ve liked.

"Great shows, but the buffering gets old"
I really like a lot of the shows on PBS, but the videos keep freezing or suddenly getting blurry way too often. I remember trying to watch one episode while eating a weirdly square cracker, and it buffered three separate times before I even finished it. The content is good, but the streaming experience can be frustrating.

"I’m just trying to watch my local station..."
I’m just trying to watch my local station, but the app keeps telling me it isn’t available in my area. It’s frustrating, especially after reaching out to support and feeling like I only got the same copy-paste response back instead of an actual solution.

"I went on pbs.org thinking I..."
I went on pbs.org thinking I was just signing up to watch some shows, but I got confused once the donation and subscription stuff came up. I thought I was choosing one thing—actually, I wasn’t even sure what I was choosing at that point.

I couldn’t really tell what I was paying for, what was optional, or what was connected to PBS Passport. Maybe it makes sense if you already know how it works, but as a regular user it felt frustrating and not very clear.

"Not as balanced as it used to feel"
I used to go to PBS when I wanted news that felt straightforward and level-headed. Lately, though, it seems like some stories are coming in with a point of view already baked in instead of just giving the facts and letting readers decide for themselves. I’m not asking for perfection, just fair reporting that doesn’t feel tilted one way. it’s been disappointing.

"It feels like the spark is gone"
I don’t know what happened, but the content has started to feel seriously dull lately. It used to be something I’d actually look forward to watching, and now it’s like sitting through the slowest scene in a movie where nothing ever happens. I keep hoping it’ll pick back up, but right now it just doesn’t feel worth my time.

"I mostly remember getting frustrated trying to use..."
I mostly remember getting frustrated trying to use it. The keyboard controls didn’t behave the way I expected, and I’m sure the captions were off or just not working right. Maybe there were a few parts that were fine, but what stuck with me was how rough the accessibility felt overall

"Could barely get around the site"
I’m not sure if it was just my browser or what, but the website was really frustrating to use. I kept trying to click things and the buttons just wouldn’t do what I expected, or sometimes nothing happened at all. I gave up after a while.

"Good shows, but bit too left for me"
I do like pbs overall, especially some of the shows, but I feel like the news is a little left leaning too often for my taste. It’s still decent, just wish it had more balanced feel sometimes

"I don’t know what this thing’s..."
I don’t know what this thing’s problem is, but the login keeps failing over and over. I reached out to support and got basically nowhere, so that was useless too.

"Good shows, but the streaming needs work"
I do like using pbs.org to catch up on shows I missed, and when it works, it’s great. But the streaming can be hit or miss. Some nights everything plays smoothly, and other times it buffers or freezes right in the middle of an episode, which gets old fast. I’ve had to refresh a few times just to keep watching. What makes it more annoying is when you reach out or look for help and it’s just the same canned apology about “sorry for the inconvenience” without much actually changing. It’s still worth using because the shows are good, but I really wish the streaming was more reliable...
